Kellerman is the worst commentator out there

He isn't that bad.. he brings up good points and he is a contrast to Lamplety and Steward..

For example during the Marquez-Diaz fight.. Steward and Lampley were all in on Diaz and were co-signing each other how Diaz was connecting and Marquez was missing and couldn't take the pressure..

Max then calmly said something to the effect that he's seen only Marquez land the accurate harder shots while blocking everything Diaz was throwing..

Honestly the one person of the announcing team that i am really starting to get upset is Lampley.. he is suppose to be the play by play man but what i have noticed in the past couple of years is that he is doing his own color commentating more and more. ANd he says things at times that make no sense and to be honest he misses a lot of the action in the ring

Agree its his voice thats most annoying, but he is also inclined to ridiculously hype fighters beyond all recognition.

SAometimes he acts like a fanboy but maybe that will change with his maturity in announcing.. but he loves the sport and does bring up extremely good points

Yeah i remember him saying that its just his voice its so dam annoying, he should go to the doctors about it they might be able to give him some pills or something. Roy Jones was my fav HBO announcer.

I use to think he was biased towards fighters when he was on ESPN, he had that douche bag presence that was as thick as Nikolay Valuev's chest hair. Then it seemed like his point of view started to broaden past the superficial after getting on HBO. I think he's the only one on the HBO team that really points out when a fight is turning or when a certain fighter is starting to gain that invisible edge. I mean between Lampley's ramblings, Larry's inabilities, Stewards superficial point of view, and Ledderman's inconsistent scoring (lol Ledderman might as well become a real judge, bein that he can't score for ****. I mean he scores fight's as inconsistent as any real judge), it's always Max to point out the other important **** that's taking place during the fight. lol He does it so much now that he pisses off the fan's, of the fan favorites. I mean I don't like him just based off of his ESPN days, but for whatever reason, he's gotten pretty ****in observant.

I know he loves the sport and he gets really emotional when announcing..kinda comes straight from the heart but he should know that he has boundaries. I still can't believe the 20 seconds or so he dedicated to a ring card girl with a story about her that made no sense.. I'm thinking the only reason he did this was to impress the chic so he could smash later that night..

Also his homerism is really pathetic.. His calls with cotto vs margs and clottey were blatant.. I mean when he took down Clottey he said "nice tackle"? Then when the ref kept telling Clottey to act like a champion and get up/walk it off Lamps was co-signing the ref and even gave the ref props..

I was why would you say that..maybe Clottey is hurt he doesn't have a history of quitting.. Lamps maybe should get that ref to call one of his fights against ex models

I like Kellerman. Hes entusiastic, knowledgable and provides good insight into whats happening in the ring. The only one with more insight is Teddy Atlas......Rockin'

i LOVE how much he bashes the sanctioning bodies and their belts!

I agree, he speaks it as it is and doesnt kiss ass when hes doing it............Rockin'
