Pryor's note to Arguello at his wake will go something like...
Sorry for creating a frown, in the last of them there championship rounds...
For my trainer, Panama the brown, demanded that I deserve the crown...
Sorry for drinking watered down *******, all I wanted was the fame...
Beg me to piss in a cup and I'll blush, and leave the arena in a rush.

Ok..........if Pryor drank an illegal energy booster that helped him win the first fight then Alexis should have won the second fight because everyone and his uncle was watching Pryor to see if he was going to cheat. But.....Pryor prevailed without any *******, and did it quicker in the 2nd fight. Alexis was just in over his head with a great fighter in both fights. Pryor even beat Tommy Hearns when they were amatuers. Aaron Pryor was a bad dude in those days. Even he great Sugar Ray Leonard didn't want to fight him.

In 1988 I went to Atlantic City to watch Roberto Duran fight Ricky Stackhouse, just so I could say that I saw "Hands of Stone" live. Anyway, Alexis Arguello was there as a spectator. When I stood up to shake his hand he said to me sit, sit, and he sat down next to me and talked to me for about twenty minutes. And I can honestly say, from first hand experience, that he was an absolute first rate guy with a lot of class. May you RIP "El Flaco Explosivo" from and old fan.
