    Pay Homage To An ATG

Pay homage to one of the legends in the game and gentleman out of it by watching greatness perform in the ring.

I just saw Arguello win his first title by beating Mexican legend Ruben Olivares in a back and forth display of courage by both men. AA shows he could fight going forward and backward, cutting off the ring and using a check hooks. What Alexis displays most is his huge heart, RIP.

Alexis Arguello is a Top 50 All Time Great.

Arguello is top 20 all time in my book. I grew up watching many of his fights on tv in the 80's. One of the classiest men in and out of the ring we will ever see. This is no lie,and you younguns will rip on me,but,I cried when he lost to Pryor. After he hit Pryor with that MONSTER upercut in the first fight that would have kod an elephant,I knew he wasn't going to win. Anyway,RIP,Alexis. We'll not see the likes of you ever again. As far as some of you comparing him to ODH,sorry, but,Oscar couldnt carry Arguello's jockstrap.
