Depends on weight, people are obviously clearly influenced by recent events.

Cotto at 140 was virtually a dead man who did the chicken dance against Chop Chop and got stopped in his tracks by a Malignaggi right hand. The Hatton that fought Tszyu could have beat him at 140 imo.

LOL this website makes me laugh sometimes. A prime Hatton at 140 would have more than a chance of beating or even KO'ing Cotto, at 140. At 147 Cotto would be the favourite, but even then I wouldn't write Ricky off. People obviously think that because he got KO'd against Pac in his last fight, that means he's been a bum his whole career. A prime Ricky - who doesn't get caught up in the event - is a hard fight for ANY boxer at 140.

a prime hatton loses at 140 in my opinion in a closer fight but it its 144 or above its a more dominant win for cotto he wins them all by knockout

I think cotto takes it at 147, at 140, however, concidering what cotto was like at 140, i've no doubt Ricky wins, probably by KO

The same "prime" Hatton that Collazo nearly KOed? Hatton was never anything special. The only chance he'd have at beating Cotto would be by his pressure, but his chin wouldnt be able to hold off Cotto's power.
