Can Mannys Belts be stripped away form him if he doesnt fight?

whats happens if a jr welterweight fighter challenges pac for the IBO belt (timothy bradley for example) but manny refuses to fight him cuz as big he is (meaning his marketability), hed only want top fighters, can manny get stripped of that belt if he refuses to fight cuz of negotiating issues? can he be stripped of other titles under his belt? i see other fighters challenge him all the time but he doesnt fire back. he is always on the hunt....

neither the ring or IBO has mandatorys.
He cant be stripped, he will be champ until he says he will no longer fight at 140 as far as i know

e.g. hatton was still champ at 140 when he moved to 147 and back down. Calzaghe was ring champ at 168 until to wrote them a letter saying the was staying at LHW and not going back down (after the hopkins fight i believe)

what about his WBC lightwelt belt? Can he keep that as long as he wishes without fighting or that also cant be stripped? i doubt hed fight anyone on that division if he was called out.

About the WBC belts, Pac during entrance, has carried those belts even when he moved up in weigh. I guess just to show he was a champ at that belt. I believed WBC charges Pac a fee when he carries those belt even if he moved up already.

In past issues with the Ring mag, they wait for the decision of Pac if he is still keeping the belt. Example was Ring mag waited for Pac's decision after the David Diaz fight.
