You're all wrong here Jeffries. Natas has it right w/ regard to the CIA destabilization of Nicaragua. The Sandinistas were however controlled by Soviet influence. Which is why the CIA was there to begin with.

But more importantly, Pol Pot, Mao, Stalin and Hitler were all supported and funded by American Financiers i.e Rockefellers, Warburgs, Prescott Bush's Brown Brothers Harriman and J.P Morgan himself.
To think that those people rose up organically and took power that way on their own is a shortcut to historical analysis.

In fact, for the Pol Pot example in particular, the blame for genocide should correctly be shifted from Pol Pot to Henry Kissinger and to smaller degree Zbignew Brzezinsky, who planned and executed that caper.

so i spoke to my parents and family back in Nicaragua.

apparently, alexis was loved by the people but most felt betrayed when he became a Sandinista (basically a commie). many people wanted to harm him and he had made enemies during his short lived political career

also, it is believed that he was bribed/threatened into becoming a sandinista (being that the president is one). supposedly, they wanted someone who the people loved to be on their side (for obvious politcal reasons)

all this **** seems to sketchy to me, i dont believe he committed suicide.

i too believe that something is fishy, someone like him doesn't strike me as the type to check out that way. i wouldnt' be surprised if it was connected to the coup d'etat. form what i know of arguello he was for the people, and if he was going against the grain of the corporatocracy and actually doign soemthing good for the people, why would they not kill him? and make it look like a suicide?

what was it? shot in the heart? who does that when they off themselves? the news that i have read on it has been fairly vague, so i don't know, other than my gut instinct giving me a feel of uneasiness........... either way, it's tragic to hear of Alexis Arguello's death.......
