awww man, this really sucks. this is a huge blow. i watched the aaron pryor fight last week. this is a sad day in boxing

When I was growing up he was my favorite fighter. His fights with Aaron Pryor were classics.

I just can't believe it. I'm still having trouble swallowing it. Alexis Arguello was one of my all time favorite fighters. You'd be hard press to find a fighter more universally respected by fellow boxers, writers and fans alike.

have heard of him since i was young through my father.
few memories of him though...
but am certain that he's a real champion.
why on earth would he commit suicide,.....being presently the Mayor of Managua?!!
