I don't see how him jab is that good. I like his left hook though, which is one of the best punches in boxing. However Cotto's jab is being severely overrated as if he has a Quartey or a Winky Wright jab. That is all.

Nah, Cotto's jab isn't overrrated. It's not as good as Quartey's, but it's really, really good. He doesn't use it as much as he should but it's a fight changing jab.

Watch the Mosley fight again. Cotto's jab is literally the difference in the fight. He knew when and how to throw it and totally threw Mosley off, and it's very, very stiff.

Definitely one of the best jabs in boxing, and it will be the reason he KO's Pac IMO.

          cotto's jab > quartey's jab

          cotto's hook > tito's hook

          cotto's right > hearns' right

          cotto's defense > whitaker's defense

          cotto's speed > judah's speed

          cotto's resume > leonard's resume

          cotto is the greatest!

he'll prove it this november when he beats up that blown up featherweight pacquiao.

lol i know he didnt hurt him

on the real though, i think its real good.. just that cotto doesnt use it as much as he should. definitely not quartey-esque or de la hoya-esque for that matter. real stiff though. as far as being overrated, just keep in mind the kind of people on this site, everything is overrated one way or another

Cottos jab isnt underated man. I mean its deff not up there with a prime Quartey ODLH or a Winky jab. But did those fighters ever kd a top fighter with a jab?? i dont recall this
