This fight is just signed for the undercard of Jones/Lacy. Not a bad fight, but not the best either. I think this card is going to be PPV, it's more like a ESPN FNF gig.

BJ campaigned heavily to his promoter (Square Ring) to get Victor Ramirez into the ring. He got sponsors, site (Hard Rock in Vegas), and was talking to ESPN for TV on his own. His promoters didn't respond and failed to help, thus Huck and his people offered the same amopunt of money to Ramirez (200k) to get him out there. BJ was a bit disappointed, especially now that Huck will destroy Victor and BJ is fighting for what will soon be Huck's mandatory. They were only able to land Escalera. The budget was mediocre at best. And should Flores become a mandatory to Huck, it won't go to purse bid. No one but Sauerland would bid on the fight, so why not take the first credible offer from them? Main Events isn't offering **** to fight Adamek, thats why Bobby Gunn is in there against the cruiserweight champion and not BJ or Godfrey. I mean, 30K is a sad offer to fight the cruiserweight champion of the world. When people can make almost ten times that fighting people like Marco Huck and double that to fight Grigory Drozd (Darnell Wilson). At least Flores is fighting this year and not completely squandering his momentum like after his Wilson win.Comment
