I like both but the groundfighting on UFC needs big improvments.

I got both and both games are wicked.

Just depends on your mood to which one gets played but FN4 is on heavy rotation with me at the mo....

        UFC =

        + Multiplayer, extensive gameplay.
        - Flash KO's overdone. Just a brawler

        FN4 =

+ Great sim, touches reality of the sport, fights actually go the distance. More strategy.
        - To many unfair counters, CPU pretty cheap. Legacy mode training games are extremely unfair.

If your going to play a game for fun, UFC. If you want to play a game that gives you satisfaction for your accomplishments and reanact classic fights preatty statistically close, FN4. I want more from my games, so I'd choose FN4, UFC is only a game I'd whip out if I have friends over.

not a ufc fan but the game is good. it was the only game i played for a while. i like fighting games where the fighters dont shoot fireballs out of their ass. but fnr4 is the best boxing game period. and im a vb2 guy and i was an old-school button masher, but i must say that after a little pratice with the tpc its much more rewarding to win fights that way. it was like learning to box all over again, only thing that sucks for me is my 360 is modded and i cant fight or download **** on line. but i buy my games for 10 mexican pesos each (im living in mexico right now). fnr4 is much better than ufc

my nephew loved it and didn't want to go back home.

              that said......paul williams sucks balls.
I have been seeing this a lot as of late. I am curious to the origin of this persistent closing statement. An argument with the 5 star general maybe?

I haven't tried fight night round 4 yet, but i've heard some mixed reviews. I have the UFC game and although it's a good first attempt and a big step up from all the other games but it feels too limited...like everything was set in one certain pattern. But i guess a sport as complex as MMA, it's no shock it'd be hard to turn into a game. But eh, still a good game I wanna try FNR4 out, i got the 3rd one and it's stil ****ing awesome! And I'ma bigger MMA guy than boxing too...but that shouldn't be a factor in this, cuz in the end it's just a game. Tekken 6 > Both

FN4 is much more advanced than UFC. It's really not even close as far as gameplay goes. UFC looks appealing at first, but you realize it's very robotic, no head movement, simple blocks, etc.

Career mode is much deeper on FN4 as well. UFC gets old quick
