That was the only Maidana fight that I have seen personally but he apparently lost a controversial decision to Kotelnik who is supposed to be "the man" and Ortiz just got bested like Juan Diaz did by more experienced fighters such as JMM and Nate Campbell. Nothing pays off like experience.
