Possibly a tack to try would be that banning boxing will not stop it merely drive it underground. Boxing or a form of has been with us through the ages and satisfies a basic need so banning it will just make it unlicensed and boxers will be more exploited and ringside medical care will be non existant. Weight classes will be ignored, more catch weights. Touch on how prohibition did not stop people drinking just passed money to criminals. Touch on the changes in boxing re weigh in times 15 rounds to 12 etc.
Maybe show the opportunities it has given some to better themselves, Hopkins would be a good example maybe? Afraid I can't help you with the powerpoint(?) thing, as a background maybe a ring as a frame with pics of different fighters to show how multi racial boxing is. There arn't many sports that encompass Black, White, Hispanic, Asian etc etc peoples?
Anyhow keep your points and good luck re your interview.

you could just do it about BOXING and not about the brutality of it.. it would be much easier. You could talk about the history of it, how it came to be and ****, the way points are scored and the whole scoring system, titles, promotional companies, what a fighter has to do to get a title shot, the skill required to be a boxer, the amount of time spent in the gym training for a fight, etc.. see there is a lot more you can do if you just keep it broad and open then just stick to the brutality of it.

            hmmm, that is an idea.

It's just I don't want people getting bored, And for example If someone was to show me a presentation on netball, I wouldn't be that impressed.

I just thought that EVERYONE has a different opinion on the sport, and to see if I could bring up some good points so that the people I'm doing it to might think "Hmm, maybe it isn't so bad."

                  Right guys, I'm back.

It's just going to be on "The sport of boxing" now.

I've done one topic - It teaches discipline and determination.

I now need some help, info/statistics on "Encourages Fitness and Healthy Living"

Anyone got any details, say like how many calories are burned in an average training session and some info I can include onto the slide for this topic.

                  Thanks
