I'm tired of people saying he's p4p top ten. In an interview at the end of 2008, I remember Vazquez saying he wanted to fight four times in 2009. It's midway through the year and he hasn't even got a fight lined up. He keeps saying "I would love to fight Lopez" but he never takes the initiative to try to make it happen. Yeah his fights with Marquez were incredible and he's a sure fired first ballot hall of famer, but what has he done lately? He hasn't fought anybody who's last name wasn't Marquez since 2006.
And if it's taken over a year for him to heal his detached retina injury he needs to retire ASAP.

I read an article a couple of months ago on boxingscene saying he was ready to fight.

In a recent interview he said the commission finally gave him a thumbs up to fight, so now he is looking for a tune-up, Marquez already had one at Featherweight and did ok, now I guess Vazquez needs one too, but I too think these two need to fight someone else besides each other.
