He looked spectacular when he beat Tarver for the first time. In the second match his defense looked vulnerable because he fought the wrong gameplan, which is nothing new because his defense looked poor when he fought Eric Harding, but looked spectacular against Adamek. When Dawson is motivated it's really hard to beat him, he will improve as a boxer without Mayweather Sr. as his trainer. He knows how to correct his mistakes.
