He showed more skills in other fights, I had to youtube some of his vids. He threw more jabs in his fight against Kotenlik or who ever that one boxers name is. He threw like next to none against Ortiz, and mostly slugged it out. But he does have technical skills aswell, it just didn't show in the Ortiz fight much.

When you watch the Ortiz fight, you see nothing but a brawler because he choose to fight that way for whatever reason... But in other fights he has shown pretty decent technical skills.

read it in LA Times that he was amateur champion in argentina in 02 and 03...plus the fact that his record has a great KO ratio means that he was no bum...this kid is on the map the way Torres got on after the cotto fight

his power has carried him to the belt. He is very very very raw. instead of coaching Khan into this fight Roach should pick him up and train him.
