Thats a no brainer. Trinidad. Its funny how Trinidad loses to 3 future Hall of famers (Hopkins, Wright, Jones jr) & all of a sudden his outstanding career is so underrated.

I never said underrated..... it's just that The professor was no push over and his resume was pretty great too.

I dont that is the reason this one is a close call, I think it is because Azumah Nelson is a great fighter who your not giving enough credit to.

How is that a no brainer? If anyone here is being underrated it is The Professor'.

Add to Southpaw's list of fighters he beat: Marcos Villasana x 2, and Calvin Grove (both great champions) and his only real losses in his prime being to the legendary Sal Sanchez in his 13th fight, with Sanchez being 41-1 and at his peak, and Pernell Whitaker at lightweight with Nelson moving up to fight him. He also lost to Fenech, but was given one of the great horrible decisions of all time with a draw but then beat him incredibly in the rematch.

His other losses really came when he was well past it to the champions Leija, whom he also beat, Hernandez and Fenech in that absurd fight not long ago.

              Amazing fighter and champion.
