Its Official: FN4 is the best boxing game ever made.

I know I was a bit harsh in my initial review but after playing it for 5 days, I have to say its the deepest, most complex, addictive boxing game ever.
There's no two fights you'll have that are the same. The strategy you employ is endless and its unbelievably realistic in every way.
The fighters each have their own style and you can actually tell.

Forget about the online play, I urge you proceed with caution cuz you will never leave the house...lol.

    Its even better than VB2.

EA ****in nailed it. Best boxing game of all time hands down. I'm not sure it can be topped.

    GET IT NOW!!

Because, no two fighters fight the same way. The defense and offense you decide to employ has a large impact on how the fight goes. You can knock someone out w/ one punch. (not a haymaker)
The fight is literally never over until its over.

            The list is too long...

I completley agree. I'm just gonna talk a little bit about the career I'm doing at the moment. Made a 5'10 Lightweight with a good reach.

Career started off well. A little too well. I was knocking out my first opponents within 3 rounds (Things were starting to remind me of FN3). Next fight I'm in is a 6 rounder against an awkward southpaw. He keeps bobbing and weaving his way inside, stinging me with his left hand. And when it lands, man does it do damage. He has me boxing for the 6 rounds.

I thought I done enough to win, but no he took it on the cards.

So I continue on. I'm not having much luck hurting my opponents, as this time hurting your opponents is largely based on creating openings and split second timing. So I choose to continue my career as an outside boxer.

I have FOUR fights go to their 10 round decisons. (I NEVER had that in FN3 unless I tried to make it go the distance on purpose).

One of the fights is a draw. The opponent is rough, and really messes me up when he gets inside. I try to keep at distance, but he keeps luring me into a fight. So it becomes a draw.

I instantly rematch him, and this time stay on the outside, boxing my way to another decision win.

Next follows some mid-late round knockouts. (When they happened I cheered, because they were so well earned and surprising - unlike FN3 where you blitz your opponent out in two rounds).

My last fight there was against Robert Guerrero. He has way too much power for me. He buzzes me many times. I'm too afraid to get hurt, so I'm doing an an Oscar De la Hoya against Trinidad, trying to protect the lead I thought I had, boxing, staying away from his power.

But damn, I didn't get the decison. But man am I loving this game

Career record at the moment is 17 wins (10 by dec) , 3 losses by decision, 2 draws.

(By the way, I had a good online fight against a dude who picked Mosley and I had Pavlik. He was doing that body spamming cheat. But I just double jabbed and landed Pavlik's straight right. And he was out of there in no time. Pavlik feels great to control in the game. When he lands that right, you get the controller vibration haha )

OH and something awesome I forgot. One of my opponents I managed to knockdown with a body shot in round one, and he didn't get up!!!! First knockdown, he stayed down. So much variety.

I lost my first few online matches to people doing this w/ roberto duran at lightweight. Just repetitvie body shots. Once I figured it out though, I owned those one dimensional noobs.

Deadly. I don't understand why people would want to play it like that. I try to fight as they would in the ring.
