Maidana - Ortiz must have been terrifying for Amir Khan

The poor kid must have been thinking to himself that either one of these guys would have knocked him out 10 times by the 6th round.

This fight just showed the difference between a real fighter and glossy much hyped prospect. That being said Ortiz looks like a real fighter next to Khan who would stand no chance of lasting 12 rounds with any of the real fighters at 140.

I feel real good about my Kotelnik bets right now!

    Khan's a good fighter.

He just doesn't have the chin.

But he looks like he could learn to protect it better.

A guy with no chin watching that fight last night?

Probably not, he is extremely confident in himself - to the point where I think he's in denial about his chin. I'm pretty sure he would still think he could beat both fighters last night.

The reality? They both KO him. And I say this as a big Khan fan.

Yeah obviously these guys both get the job done, along with 6 or 7 others at 140lbs, but it won't come down to it because Kotelnik is gonna take of Khan without too much trouble himself.

Care to make another bet. I'm willing to take Khan for any amount. I would love to see Prescott vs Maidana now.

I've always seen it as a very risky fight for Khan, to the point where the confidence coming from Khan and Roach surprises me - they seemed more worried about Barrera than they do Kotelnik.

I think Khan might be able to decision him if he fights a pitch perfect fight, but it won't be clear cut, he will probably be wobbled at some point, and he'll probably spend most of the night hitting Kotelink's gloves.

Kotelnik's the acid test for Khan - it will basically tell us where he's gonna go.

I got my tickets for that fight today. I just hope that chin holds up for than a couple of rounds
