I feel you H.
While I was watching the fight, I kept yelling at the screen "Ortiz Box !"...he has way more skill than Maidona but the warrior blood backfired on him. After the fight when he made those comments, " I looked over to my girl and said," I don't believe he just said that,he is going to take alot slack for saying what he did, Im not going out on my back for anybody".
But H don't stress it because the accomplishments of the many outweigh the accomplishments of the few and Mexicans have way more to be proud of, also Ortiz is a great guy and good fighter...he made a young mans decision and he will learn from it.
Cotto has even more respect from me today! Not as a Puerto Rican but as a man.

I am P. Rican and i live in the island and i know what are you trying to say.. I feel the same way with New Yorikans.. they act so proud for the PR flag way more than we do.. About boxing, true mexicans warriors are made from their nation.. Chavez, JMM and many more.. its like PR products Tito,Cotto, Benitez, Gomez etc.. they all built their desire for boxing in the country they deserve to represent because they came from there, not representing the country that their parents or maybe grandparents came from.. But Im glad Ortiz lose I knew that guy was all-hype and the boxer I most hate
