Bernard Hopkins has a helluva chin.

Check out the first punch of this video int he first second. Tarver closes his eyes and lands a huge left hand with his eyes closed a la Roy Jones Tarver 2 while Hopkins was out of position, and what does he get for his troubles? a few big right hands back to the face.

yea he almost never gets hit and when he does he can take it very well. he also got tagged in the 3rd robert allen fight(around the 8th) pretty flush and was unphased.

That's because he keeps his chin tucked in every second of every round no matter what he's doing. When he knocked Tarver down, he was practically looking at the ground.

The mercado fight was iffy. You have to take the ridiculous altitude into account, and Hopkins got there the day of the fight, or just before if I am not mistaken. Also he got hit flush in many other fights and never has been fazed by a punch since.
