Former superfeatherweight and lightweight champion Acelino "Popo" Freitas commented on Victor Ortiz, and the much-discussed junior welterweight's actions in a televised HBO bout last night.

Freitas, speaking from his home in this coastal Brazilian city, feels that Ortiz' reluctance to continue will hamper his career. "He is a puseta . (Portuguese for "*****"). As soon as he felt the punch, he gave up. The boxers today have no heart."
