yeah, his life story didn't make sense at all. They didn't explain how he was eating, I honestly think his dad was there for them and it was just part of hbos drama storys that make no sense what so ever. I'm sure his dad wasn't there all the time because he was busy looking for work but they never explained how they ate if he so called abandon them...
