Should Victor Ortiz quit boxing? Unofficial Poll!

Should Victor Ortiz quit boxing? It sounded as though he was considering it in his post fight interview. However, a lot of posters on NSB right now are acting as though he doesn't deserve to step between the ropes again b/c he quit. Personally, I hope that if he still wants to box then he continues. Mentally he may not be cut out for the elite level but I think he deserves another chance.

        Why? Of course NOT

The boy got powerand talent. He could defeat Maidana with a good game plan.
He just thought his power was enough for Maidana. Dumb mistake!

So far in this thread it seems NSB is being fairly level headed.. but i'm seeing a ton of posts from ppl essentially calling him a vagina.

He needed to suck it up and get smart after he was dropped. I dont think hes ready to fight top level just yet. he needs more experience.

As for quitting I dont think he should quit. The mans skills are all there he just needs to stick to his gameplan. Maidana can be beaten easily by someone with a game plan

nope, he needs to think if he still wants to box and that will tell him. I still think the next one with ortiz and maidana will be very different. H fought dumb, he fought maidana's game and realized he has to be smart, not ******/careless.

He looked as if he had no idea how to slip the right hand at the end. It was baffling how clueless he became toward the end. I'm guessing he never really recovered from any of the punches. He may still have been dazed. He sounded dazed when he spoke..

The people that call him a vagina are people that ARE vaginas and think they've never quit anything or done anything wrong...idiots.

Honestly, I don't think he'll quit. Oscar plans on making a mint off of him and I bet Oscar is a very persuasive individual. Here's a ferrari and a house, keep fighting.. I'll send Mosley over on weekends to babysit, please don't quit.
