People talk smack about America but I feel Mexico has been hit harder which is pretty surprising, since they are usually a powerhouse. A lot of soul searching to be done.
they still have JCC Jr!!! BWAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAH

but seriously, mexican boxing is always at its best below 130 lbs.

i dont think its dead, the problem i guess, well its only my opinion, is that the tv, is looking bad!!, they dont fgive the real prospect the chance to prove, also, now in mexico, are back the business on boxing, and are making bad decicions, like jcc jr, putting bad figthers against him, making local "idols" but they are doing the things bad!!

Maybe I’m overstating myself in saying this but Mexican boxing to me was almost the peanut-butter in a PJ sandwich. I’m Puerto Rican I have nothing but the highest respect and admiration for Mexican boxing but truth be told it’s just on park for now just like all other cycle’s of greatness. Right now, I think boxing as single entertainment entity is suffering due to lack of stars from all backgrounds combined with its competition with the UFC syndicate.

            Peace

Humberto Soto could be someone to save it if Arum would get him the right fights and quit having all of his fights on PPV.

I think Mexican boxing has a lot to go to get to that point. Especially with a strong tradition in boxing. Just my 2c.
