Hatton can still be competitve with the likes of Bradley, Campbell, Judah, and Witter. I want him to retire, but if he isn't ready to quit, I will be tuning into his next fightComment

If he fights on he deserves respect for it. The guy has made about 60/70 mil and invested it very well. If he fights on it will be because he enjoys it and there is absolutely nothing wrong with your only two defeats in a near 50 fight career coming to 2 of the greatest fighters ever. IMO he could still win a title at 140, but maybe he is done. None of us know that for sure. I wish him well.Comment

FTR: Cotto is a solid (he's a washed up bum if we judge him the same way Hatton is being judged by some) fighter, but he's NO way near the elite level of a Pac or Floyd.Comment

SSM has lost several times and was considered "past prime" until he beat Tony. Cotto got battered and quit against that same guy (Margarito) and barely sc****d by an average fighter (Clottey) in his last fight. Pac should have retired when he was KTFO at 18 or more recently when he lost a decision.

Come on man, Mosley has looked as solid as ever, he did look shot in the Mayorga fight but still pulled out the KO. Cotto lost in a great fight that has probably put years on his career granted but he beat Clottey who is way above average and would **** Hatton up at any point in his career IMO. Pac lost when he was a skinny kid and has matured and gotten better dont compare him to a guy who has just been getting worse and worse since his big Tszyu win. Hatton has been FLATTENED BADLY twice now, his chin dont seem there, he is through
He has only been flattened badly once and that was against Manny Pacquiao, and Ricky just put on a terrible performance. That does not prove he is through. If he was flattened by Malignaggi, then he would be through, but he outboxed and stopped him easily. We don't know where Hatton is at this stage in his career, so fighting on against an average opponent is definitely needed to gauge just what he has left.Comment
