    ..DEONTEY WILDER: His Progress...

    His first two fights.

    Number one..

    Number two..

The finish to his last fight..

Some of you may have seen his last fight on ESPN. COnsidering he's the only U.S. Olympian who came close to doing his job, what do you guys think of him thus far? Obviously quite early, but I'm just curious.

You can't teach a guy to be 6'7 or have the type of athleticism that Wilder does.

It's gonna come down to whether he is a fighter or an athlete. Is he gonna fold up the first time he gets hit hard? Who knows?

I like the way he is being brought along fighting almost once a month and building up confidence. He also seems to be growing into his body quite well having already added a solid 20 pounds onto his amateur frame.

Yeah. He still needs another 10 to 15 pounds in order to compete PHYSCIALLY with the elite fighters. But he's had little more than a handful of fights, so he's at where he should be in terms of weight.

i think the guy looks terrible. his stance is terrible. if you cant master something as simple as your stance you will not be an elite fighter. he is a great athlete but he obviously started boxing too late and i do not think he will be any good.

Nate Campbell started way too late, he's doing all right.

He's improving fight by fight, he's a really good athlete and is at a good place considering he's only boxed for 4 years. If anyone knows how to get him to get that jab working and to get maximum leverage and extension on the right hand it's Breland, he needs to work on his hook and arsenal though, his defense needs some work too.

I think he has a chance of being good. He's got the lenght and what not to use that jab and become dominant. I've seen his first couple of fights and he seems to have some decent pop.

I would normally be quick to vote that he is terrible... but that power is something special.

He is only right handed, but if Pacquiao can become a two handed puncher so late in his career, Wilder can learn as well.

He needs to jab more, tighten up his defense, and punch with both hands.

We will see, i think he is on the right track but its far to early to tell. That power though... its something special

Its quite easy to land your power shots against bums who walk right into them. This guy is a disgrace, wasn't he in the amateurs and now he fights only fat loser boxers? Tyson Fury would own this guys ass in the ring if they fought right now.
