Questionable Decisions
I was not impressed by Ottke at all (1), and some very even fights were decided for the belt holder.
But I have to go with BattlingNelson here. Unfair decisions are made wordwide.
We had an uproar here when Axel Schulz lost to George Foreman by points. Guess why.
(1) He was fast, I have to admit.Comment

AA and Sturm should fight in Germany for about 5M each, then at the end stand side by side and both give Pavlik and Arum the finger and say **** u we dont need u or HBO money. the world knows who's the best MW (whoever wins), u want to prove yourself after getting embarresed by a middleaged man, get a passport *****.Comment

HBO's dumb budgetary habits have nothing to do with Floyd mayweather or his PPVs. This has been going on for years, yet you still come to the same dumbfounded conclusion. Sean Hannity does this exact same thing. Baseless argument sidetracking into something unrelated to further a deeper agenda aimed at using an easy scapegoat.Comment

Blame HBO
Correct me if I'm wrong Rick, but according to my forty-seven-year-old memory, it was HBO's exclusive contracts, starting with Marvin Hagler, in the mid-80s that started taking boxing off network TV. Other pay channels followed suit, and now HBO and Showtime are the only options for fighters who want decent $. By all rights we should be able to watch Pavlik-Sturm on ABC's W.W. of Sprots, the CBS Sports Spectacular or whatever NBC's show was called. Screw HBO and what their monopoly has done to the sport!
And by the way, Lamply sucks. He's supposed to do the blow-by-blow, but all he does is analyze. You don't need three analysts for a sport with two participants. Give me Don Dunphy, Bob Sheridan, or even Cosell anytime over that company hack.Comment
