The thing is Chavez already paid his dues. Ortiz acted like a brat, "I don't deserve a beating" WTF. N*gga, in boxing, you earn your stripes Ortiz bailed the moment it got hot.
Maybe we shouldn't act so surprise for Ortiz's behavior/statements, afterall, the promoter grooming him had a history of quitting in tough fights, lol, like promoter, like fighter
Was he expecting Maidana to say sorry to him everytime he got hit? lol

Oscar never gave up until the Pac fight..... Oscar earned his stripes, and did what he had to do...
The only thing Oscar was a victim of, was not finishing fights....

Dude, De La Joto gave up in the Tito fight, he gave up in the B-Hop fight, and he gave up in the Floyd fight, yes, I said the Floyd fight!
Oscar had a chance to put it on Floyd but dropped the ball. He allowed fatigue to control him once more. When PAC gets tired, the inner monster in him comes out and fights through the fatigue, that's the diff between a good fighter, De La Joto, compared to a great fighter, PAC.
You know, Joto's name should really not be even mentioned in the same sentence w/ PAC's name, it's an insult to a great like PAC!
I was surprised last night. Not the fact that Ortiz lost. Not even the fact that he gave up. I was surprised in the way the referee tried to save him face. Ortiz clearly quit after round 5 when his corner asked him do you want me to stop this fight. When round 6 started he immediately got hammered. When he went down and got up he quit. The ref asked him if he wants to go on and he said no. Than the f@ckin ref calls in the Dr. and the Ref asks the Dr. to stop the fight. Why did the ref need the Dr. IF both the Ref and Ortiz wanted the fight stopped. And then in the post fight interview he says some non boxer with balls **** and has the gall to smile and laugh when he is saying it. Victor Ortiz reminds me of Acelino Frietes without the emotion.
