David Haye vs Vitali Klitscko moves closer

*********.com has learned that a bout between WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (37-2, 36 KOs) against former WBC/WBA/WBO cruiserweight champion David Haye (22-1, 21 KOs) is being discussed for September 12. The bout would likely land in Germany, although a brand new 50,000-seat stadium in Donetsk, Ukraine (Donbass Arena, home of FC Shakhtar Donetsk) opens on August 29th and is also under consideration. Haye was originally slated to face Vitali’s younger brother, WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight king Wladimir Klitschko (53-3, 47 KOs) on June 20th in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, but a month before fight Haye suffered a back injury and pulled out.

As for a possible unification fight between Vitali Klitschko and WBA heavyweight champion Nikolay Valuev (50-1, 34 KOs), the Klitschko brothers do not wish to deal with Don King, co-promoter of the “Russian Giant,” whom they believe is asking for too much to make the fight. Klitschko-Valuev could take place next year, however.

I really cant see a way Haye beats Vitali.

Wlad, he had a change, because if he landed well, y'know.

Vitali on the other hand has a chin stronger than the floor underneath me.

Hopefully this fight comes off, would like to see it happening in Ukraine as well, be good for the ukraine fans to see their hero in action, plus would be a better atmosphere, the germans are a bunch of boring ****s.

Would be even more of an occasion if it could be held in the Ukraine. That would be a bit special.

haye has a chance against vitali if he uses speed and boxes. vitali is a tree. he has little movement, is 37, and isn't the fastest of fighters. not to mention he fights with his hands low.

Haye can win if he box rather than go for the KO, Vitali can take a great shot but he doesnt have a great stamina, He fights with his mouth open from the 6th round onwards and he has only fought twice in 4-5 years.

I want to look forward to this, but seeing as Vitali is prone to pulling from fights form injury, and Haye just pulled from a fight. i'll try not to
