Oh, it wasn't so long ago that every mexican on here was hootin' and hollerin' how "Vicious-ly ****d" Vic Ortiz was suppose to just walk all over PAC and Khan. All I can say is, hahahaha, hehehehe, oh ****, I can't breathe, I can't stop laughing it hurts.

I remember people clearly saying he can beat Pac in a COUPLE of years, the guy is only 22 and got his first ass whopping, Pac got "Viciously-****d" when he was young too and look how he ended up, I was never sold on Ortiz as the next Golden boy, but I do think he can become a great fighter in the future.Comment

Yeah, PAC had a real rough beginning in his career, but, he never said and I'm para-phrasing here "I'm still young, I'm preserving my brain cells".I remember people clearly saying he can beat Pac in a COUPLE of years, the guy is only 22 and got his first ass whopping, Pac got "Viciously-****d" when he was young too and look how he ended up, I was never sold on Ortiz as the next Golden boy, but I do think he can become a great fighter in the future.
Dude, in the hurt business, you're either in or your out! There's no preserving this and that, that comes when you become an aged veteran.
Ortiz is a talented fighter no doubt, but if his will ain't in it, he can't and will never reach that potential !
I had a cousin who was a gifted amateur fighter himself, but he never had that love, you know "that love" for fighting, and he made the right decision by not pursuing a pro career even with all the talent he had.
He chose a different path and is doing great financially these days.Comment

Like I said, it all goes back to attitude. Right now, I'd have to say, "Vicious-lee ****d" Vic Ortiz does not have the right attitude.
Obviously, we don't know what's gonna happen with Vic, he's either gonna cave in due to this loss or comeback even stronger. But, as it stands, he just got ****d and his gesture at the end of that fight(he was gesturing to the ref that he wanted out of it) and the stuff that he said during the interview, that's not a sign of a mentally tough-minded person!
You know what, more power to Vic if he chooses to quit boxing right now and chooses a different path, he seems like a good, wise kid, there's other avenues he can take to find financial success.
Boxing ain't for everyone, even for those who have all the physical talent in the world.Last edited by We want Floyd; 06-28-2009, 02:01 AM.Comment

I completely agree with you, he is in the hurt business, if you don't have the will or the love to move forward, then get out, I'm just saying, it is sad that some poster here think every prospect that loses as a "bum", he is only 22, he can come back and become a better fighter if he has the will.Yeah, PAC had a real rough beginning in his career, but, he never said and I'm para-phrasing here "I'm still young, I'm preserving my brain cells".
