At Max Schmeling Halle in Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin, Germany, IBF middleweight champion Arthur Abraham (30-0, 24KOs) stopped a game Mahir Oral (25-2, 10KOs) in the tenth round of an exciting fight. [details]

    Abraham TKO ORAL!!!

Abraham lost first 2 rounds in my opinion and then he control a fight
and won by TKO in 10.

      Oral was courageous.
He kept getting knocked down but always got up.

Better than you can say for a lot of guys faced with superior firepower.

Hes unbelievably heavy handed. He hit Oral with shots that just grazed his gloves and you could see Oral was stunned. I don't think Abraham hit him with a flush shot but yet had him on the canvas 5 + times. Hes a danger to anyone based solely on his power. Froch vs Abraham would be a slug fest to end all slugfests.

Abraham's one of my fave fighters, I just thought the weight might affect him today, I guess not.

Pavlik and Sturm are ducking him not the other way around.

Abraham went to work on Oral. just watching him fight pisses me off Pavilk isnt gonna fight him. maybe at 168 next year or a couple of years down the road but Pavilk-Abraham would be a Classic!! Strum doesnt want to fight him and Pavilk has been ducking him like the Swine Flu. 168 has alot of great fighters but a MW Pavilk-Abraham would've been great. I guess I have to dream the fight....

I heard that Roman Karmazin wanted to fight Abraham and he turned the fight down. Abraham isn't raising his clout with the bums he's fighting. If he wants a fight with Pavlik he needs to fight better opponents. He never expressed interest in fighting Jermaine Taylor when he was champ.

I wouldn't say he is the Paul Spadafora of the division. When Spadafora was champion, HBO loved him and he made millions. When he wasn't champion, he was in prison, drunk, and fighting with his girlfriend. to compare the two, is ******. I do however, hope The Pittsburgh Kid can get it back together.

The European promoters are hard to figure out. This being Abraham's third fight of his last four to be televised states (SHOWTIME tonight 9pm) only means in my eyes, they are gearing up the American fight fans. Bob Arum, promoter of Kelly Pavlik, appears more money driven than anything nowadays. Maybe with Abraham winning and gaining audience in the USA we will see a show down. I'd like to see Pavlik/Abraham and on that same card Sturm/Sylvester. Abraham only have a couple more fights in him at 160 I imagine, so this Pavlik showdown has to happen.

                    Free Mikkel Kessler.
                    Long live Paul Spadafora.
