    Clottey signature punch = HEADBUTTS

Nobody can deny that Clottey is one of the best WW out there. Interesting enough most of his opponents get hurt on the eyebrow area by clean punches but at times he have had many incidents on his pro carrier involving Headbutt.

Against Baldomir: Clottey DQ in 11 rounds for Headbutt
In round 10, Clottey lost a point after coming inside with his head, cutting Baldomir over the left eye. Clottey would lose another point that round for a similar infraction. In round 11, Clottey was deducted another point for leading with his head. Another clash of heads later in the round lead to the disqualification

Against Steve Martinez: bout was a NC in 2 rounds for Headbutt
A deep cut was opened over the left eye of Martinez by an accidental clash of heads. The ringside phsician examined Steven after the opening round and advised the referee to stop the fight
    .
Against Richard Gutierrez: Clottey won by MD
Clottey was penalized 1 point for low blow's and was warned by the referee that he was on the verge of being disqualified due to the holding and leaning in with his head.

Against Zab Judah: Clottey won by TD in 9
The fight was stopped after Judah said he could not see. The referee had ruled the cut was caused by an accidental clash of heads. although replays showed a punch by Clottey might had done the damage.

Against Miguel Angel Cotto: Cotto won won by SD
Cotto was cut towards the end of round three above the left eye caused by an accidental headbutt.

It's no secret, why do you think Cotto was on his bike? If Cotto took anymore headbutts from Clottey, he would end up looking like Teddy Atlas with a gaint gash from the eye all the way down to his chin.

I dunno, that straight right seemed to land on Cotto a lot.

                Exactly.

Otherwise we can say Cotto's signiture punch is the low blow. Which seems to appear every big fight Cotto has.
