I got a Mac Pro for $2500 and I don't regret it for a second. Where do you take your computer when something goes wrong with it? Do you have hundreds of stores you can go to with Mac Geniuses that are glad to help? No. You get to call Windows or whoever the **** technical support where they try to bill you like $50 an hour. LMFAO. PCs are a joke in comparisons to Mac.
You're an idiot. No one makes programs for macs, macs are over priced, apple ***s their customers by forcing them to use the apple store to buy programs for it. You need to stop visiting pedophile and gay sites so you don't get viruses. I've never had any problems with my windows computer. Microsoft ownes apple just take a look at the forbes list if you need proof. microsoft office alone is better than ANYTHING mac will ever have to offer and that's the reason its the number 1 used program IN THE WORLD. You sound like an idiot when you say "oh I paid 2500 for my mac and I'm proud of it" you sound like those douche bags that would say "I paid 300 for this shirt and I'm proud of it" and the guy with a $20 shirt has everything you wish you had, like girls and friends. You never answere my question, why does apple continue to reach out to microsoft for help with programs? Learn what you talk about before you look ******. What's funny is microsoft made an office for macs but you cant buy it at best buy or from microsoft, you have to buy it from the apple company ***ing you, cause you think ur cool with a mac. Tell me a program or hardware for a mac that you can purchase from whomever you want? Exactly! You cant! Apple is trapping all idiots like you and having a fun time doing it. Now go pay $2.99 for a song download off of Itunes you dumb ***. I'll be here chilling on my $600 dell with windows that can do A LOT MORE than your cool 2500 mac! Now go buy another $2.99 ringtone from itunes before I E-slap you!

What I like about Mac's is you can run Windows on them easily nowadays. New Macbook Pro is great, I have one here (as well as my PC) and I can't fault it at all.

My only problem with Macs were the specs were a little light for what I needed and they weren't able to run a program I needed for work (active x controls needed) but a lot of people I know like them esp those who do video etc.

A little pricey for what you get but they've went down in price some.

I'm online, reading some excel spreadsheets, downloading music(for free), and I have windows media player running. How good would the $2500 mac handle that?

Truthfully, it would be fine to do all those things. You don't necessarily have to have Office to open xls or xlsx files. There are many programs capable of adapting and opening them and you have a variety of options for music.

The price I think, 2500 is a little out of hand though. That I do agree on.

I didn't buy one simply because it didn't have what I needed when I work at home and don't want to drag my laptop home.

I highly doubt that when you go to purchase items you really look at how there stocks do against other companies. I love little ******s like you who will say anything to make themself seem right. It's one thing to compare calories between products but saying, "I'm going to purchase this as opposed to that based on how it performs on the stock market" is ridiculous and unrealistic. But being that you're struggling to look like you know what you're talking about I can understand you going there.

I can run six seperate desktops all with 20 different applications and programs on each one without a bit of lag. Can you do that no your little PC? LOL. I can make music in garage band, be downloading five or six *******s, have kazaa running downloading music also, be browsing this forum, be watching a movie, and ****ing your girl at the same without the slightest bit of a slow up. Can you do that on a PC? Nope. A giant HD doesn't equal processing power. It just means you can save more kiddie **** than your friends.

Also to touch on what someone else mentioned, I can run Windows on my desktop while still within my own operating system the only reason I asked is because I prefer to not run Windows since it's an unsecure piece of ****. I can run the processes your computer can 20 times over and this **** has never broke down once. Suck on that puto.

Also no need to try to make it personal. Not everyone who has a Mac is a fanboy who will go sit in a Starbucks pretending to write a screenplay while looking at there iPhone every 10 seconds wearing an I<3Apple shirt. But like I said since you're desperate and reaching and feel inadequate you can go there also. I don't mind. It just makes you look ******.

I use both. My PC is a Windows high end gaming machine. I have two laptops, A Macbook Pro and an HP core2 duo laptop with Vista and XP pro dual boot.

I use my Macbook Pro 95% of the time over the other laptop. Apple does make the best laptops bar none. I still prefer Windows on a PC though.
