i know some pacfans are hypnotized right now because of the dlh/hatton fights but cotto will win. good call though TS, cotto has tasted alot of power and has faced alot of speed and yet for some reason pac ko's him? doubt it. cotto by ko midrounds 6-8 on some nice counter ****. dont get me wrong, i think pac can score a flash knockdown early as cotto works on figuring him out but cotto-W.

This is a clear case of bandwagon jumpers. Since Pac is the hot ticket right now, people are just going with the popular opinion it's always like this. Most fan have selective memory and can't remember beyond one or two fights.

de la hoya wasnt as drained as made out, cotto can take a punch but pacquiao is his fastest opponent ever.

I think Pacquiao could TKO him late, because of accumulation of punches and Cotto gets tired quickly down the stretch. But Cotto is still a heavy handed fighter, who gained a reputation for busting other fighters up. Just about everyone Cotto has fought was swollen up after the fight, including Clottey. Pacquiao is smaller and is definitely venerable to punishment. But, considering how he fights now, I just don't think he will stay still long enough for Cotto to unleash on him. He has evolved as a fighter.

He wasn't badly swollen, but I noticed the right side of his jaw, where Cotto's left hook landed a few times, was swollen. Clottey defense really played an important factor in that fight.

I looked at the end of the fight again, and it might just be me. Clottey's jaw is wide, so I could be wrong.
