HBO-ESPN-Showtime...Rate the fight analysts

Love them or hate them, the analysts for these fight networks do add something to the event.

I think (and I'm surprised) that to me, Teddy Atlas is the best. Opinionated, brutally honest but the guy knows his stuff.

Manny Steward, I respect greatly but he seems to be slipping a bit. May be because he works with Larry Merchant.

Speaking of Larry Merchant, I can tolerate him but I know a lot of the people he works with can't stand him.

Al Bernstein, steady, reliable and insightful.

Jim Lampley is the best man. you may not agree with everything he may say and sometimes he may play favorites but he is the voice of big fight boxing! He brings excitement to the game. I couldn't even imagine HBO w/o him. Steward is alright but I HATE how on his predictions he always says something along the lines of "I think he will either have a great performance or he will lose" lol he covers all bases that way when the outcome is decided he can say"thats exactly what I thought would happen". Man that really gets to me. Merchant is in his own zone all the time.

ESPN guys are decent. Steve Farhood is solid but overall I think Showtime gets boring and lacks the overall excitement that HBO does.

Teddy Atlas talks way too ****ing much and doesn't know how to make in ring adjustments to his analysis of what a fighter should do. He just keeps repeating the same **** even when he's wrong. Lewis shouldn't even be on any list.

Merchant: is still the man as far as co analysts.

Lampley: is still the best play by play announcer in boxing. His voice and enthusiasm easily make him the best.
