They should bring this guy up slow. He's very raw. That left hook was hideous. Some of his problems are fixable though over time. I just want to get excited about an American Heavyweight again. I'll be following him closely.

I agree. He has the physical tools. He's real tall and has a strong right. At this point, he has real balance issues, in his feet and his hands.

Well 6 guys and none with a pulse yet, I'd say they're doing a good job. He does have a lot of potential, but he didn't have crap for experience in the AMs besides the Olympics, did he? If he keeps fighting almost once a month, maybe in a couple years he'll be able to start seriously stepping it up.

They need to find him somewhat better opponents.

Not top journeymen yet, but just a bit better than the bottom 10% tomato cans he's fought so far.

That's why I think he can still develop. He doesn't have a lot of experience.

I see potential. Gotta laugh at the guys ragging on George's son who never had a AM career fighting in his first pro fight, after only a year of training. Another thing, Wilder needs to fill out to about 235-240 on his 6'7" frame. No need to rush that either, he's only 23 and Hw's are fighting into their late 30's these days. Dude has plenty of time, and yeah, Emanuel would be great for him.
