I am gonna say.. I am a big Klitschko fan.. and I will admit a small part of that is because they are white.. and I grew up in a time when when boxing jokes centered around white guys.. So i am happy to see another stereotype disproved..

Men of fighting age over 200 pounds in US: about 15,000,000

Take into account that those "potential" heavyweights, well at least the ones in decent shape, are more likely to enroll in more lucrative sports like football or basketball. Sports like that are enormously popular in the US and apply to mainstream fans which heavyweight boxing is struggling to do.

Its sad but true that many past and potential future greats from the US have not grown up in luxury and boxing has been their only way out of crime, low level jobs etc.

Finally after about three rounds I just stopped coming to the computer between rounds and enjoyed the rest of the fight.
