Maybe Floyd and his people are keeping quiet about his rib injury because they want to make everyone look dumb. I wouldnt be shocked at all if 24/7 was filming when Floyd got hurt. What happeneds if on the 1st episode they show Floyd get hurt or right after he got hurt and show him going back & forths to the doctor about his rib? That would make alot of skeptics look foolish. I just dont buy the fight not selling thing. I mean how can you judge anything around seats? Its a PPV fight. Nearly all of the money will come from the PPV sales. There is no way that anyone could convince me that they cancled this fight over poor sales even before 24/7 started. Are you really going to tell me that the arena wouldnt have been full after they hype everything up on 24/7? Even the promo after the Cotto-Clottey fight would get you hyped. They wouldnt have any problem selling out that arena after that. They didnt have that many seats open. It was a normal fight and the hype about it hadnt even begun so why would they cancel it over a few sales? It doesnt make sense.
I might could see that if Floyd actually ended up doing something else but there having the same exact fight again 2 months later. What could change? They wouldnt have the exact same thing 2 months later if they were having money problems with the fight. If anything, the hold up hurts this fight and everything Floyd wants to do. They already had the tour so there not going to have that again. Now the fight is a long time after the tour which is bad for business. On top of that Pac is now fighting Cotto which could be horrible for Floyd if Pac loses. It makes no sense at all for them to do this because of money. The man was hurt or something else happened but it definatly wasnt because of sales. It makes no sense for it to be because of that but then they have it again 2 months later. I bet they will show the real on the 24/7 show
