Yeah that's what he and Sauerland has been telling the german papers. To boxingscene's own Jake Donovan they said that they still had time to wait for Pavlik. I guess they give different quotes to different medias.

Of course he does, hes not gonna say he doesnt does he, and what does he do, f.ucking hang around in germany fighting f.ucking nobodies, Lujan simon gave him a run for his money. Even the largest collectors of arthur abraham thongs would tell you he is one of the widest punchers in the sport and his footwork is just bad (no reference to the late MJ lol).

Anyhow he gets in there with a good mover, lol, game over.

He's also a f.uckin drainer, and should be at a higher weight, let put him in there with a kessler and see what happens.

AA has shown that he is willing to travel (miranda II) and has been in contact with kellys people several times. imo its not kelly whos to blame, kelly strikes me as the type of guy who would match up with anyone, imo its his promoter, trainer and team around him who are guiding him away from AA.

the fact that AA is willing to travel tells me that the venue is not the problem. AA needs to keep hold of his belt if he is to crack into mainsream US so thats why hes constantly making mandatories and facing voluntaries but kelly seems to be cherry picking his fights (i mean sergio mora - wtf!)

imo the blame lies at bob arums door.

AA and his team said they wouldn't hang around untl late 09 or early 2010 for the fight, that by then AA would not be able to make the weight. arum spotted his chance and then kelly 'apparently' suffered an injury in the build up to mora and a potential bout with AA had to be put further behind. arum said a pavlik vs abraham fight would have to be early 2010 and when kelly came out and said on a radio station that he felt fine and could have continued with training i wasn't surprised.

I think he's a talented guy but when people say (like the article BPP posted) he's "waiting" why doesn't anyone address the fact that he's protected in germany from the best mws here in the U.S. If he's "waiting" then it's his own fault for not trying to come here to fight the best. Beating Miranda who Kelly destroyed isn't exactly proving anything but I understand it was needed. Now instead of "waiting" prince arthur should man up and fight here exclusively. But I'm sure he and his promoters would rather hide in their european stronghold from the real challenges.

why come to the USA when your making a huge amount of money in Germany?
Besides Kelly Pavlik & Paul Williams, all the other middleweights are European anyway, besides Sergio the guy from Argentina.
& If you want to face the champion, you gonna have to go to his backyard and beat him.
That means Williams has to Germany if he wants a fight with Abraham.
He's gonna have to come here if he wants Kelly Pavlik though.
