If GBP thinks that by putting Winky on the undercard will help this fight sell, they're wrong! Winky guarantee's zero action. Put someone like, Juan Manuel Lopez, Arce, Darchinyan, or even Rafael Marquez on the undercard. Winky "i'll jab u to death" Wright doesnt excite the fans.

The bout between Mayweather and Marquez is losing steam to sell tickets most probably of two obvious factors, first because of the world's economic meltdown and secondly, Mayweather lost his luster due to his dwindling popularity among boxing fans.

the economy didnt hurt the sales of pac vs hatton and cotto vs clottey. so it must be the other reason

No kidding man. Why the hell is Golden Boy gonna torcher us with Winky Wright. I also thought that having Zab Judah against Ricky's bum ass brother was a bunch of bull**** too. They should throw Daniel Jacobs, Abner Mares, and AJ banal on there and match them up with decent opponents. If Winky and Judah is the undercard we're getting, then I may just have to pass on this PPV. I will probably order it anyway though, because September 10 is my birthday, and my dad is somewhat of a boxing fan. Plus I'll probably get some Tecate beer so it will split the cost.

If it's not the economy most probably it's Mayweather losing his ability to allure boxing fans to watch his not so exciting boxing style.
