it does seem unrealistic man. the jab does nothing in the game, the jab is suppose to keep the fight a boxing match. Not a constant war.

I was hammering tyson with Ali's jab... the announcers were talking about stopping the fight at the end of the round because of the damage..

The fighter may still come at you evern though you jab him, but it does do damage.. and does weaken the fighter.

It also depends on who you are using to jab.

I love the game personally. Very true to the sport in alot of aspects, however maybe because it's because I just bought it, but some of the training games can be kinda hard IMO. Knockouts are brutal, Legacy is entertaining, create a boxer with Game Face is amazing, but online is the icing on the cake for me.

I've only played the demo of this game and a couple of hours at a friends place but is a TKO/Ref stoppage possible and can you view the fight via different camera angles?

I can't stand analog sticks. Maybe I'm too old school and can't adapt, I dunno. Buttons is where it's at. They should have at least included the option to reconfigure the controller.

My cousin just bought FN4 today, so I'll find out sometime this weekend what I think of it. I'll give it a chance, but if it's anything like FN3 I probably won't dig it. Crappy controls, sluggish footwork. Maybe I'm just a crap gamer nowadays, but I can't get along with these games.

It depends on who you're using in the game.

TBH the jab is a wonderful weapon so far. You're probably finding that it is a constant war at the moment because you put the AI on pro mode. Try a higher difficulty level. You might have to use the jab more sparsely.

My problem with the game ATM is that the camera angle doesnt allow me to see the other side of the opponent much. So I cant see my opponents other eye to see if I've done enough damage.

If you're winning throwing 1300 punches a fight the difficulty is probably too low.

The game is the ****. Best boxing game I've ever played. My only gripe about it is that ea should come out with an update that gives online players some kind of negative consequence for spamming 20-30 straights like its a jab.
