I'm picking Manny to win, based on speed and movement. But it won't be a walk in the park by any means. Pac doesn't have a Clottey defence so if he gets caught on the ropes he may be in a spot of bother.

thats an advantage for Pac to not have that peek-a-boo style defense.. pac has superior movement and feints and gets out of the trenches when necessary...it'd be another troublesome night for Cotto..

margarito is a guy known for throwing 1200+ punches a FIGHT. and very hard punches at that...

cotto has fought mosley (he's definately not featherfisted either) and if you ask me mosley has more precision in his punches than pacman...pacman is a little too wild sometimes if you ask me...mosley is tight and accurate with his punches.

pacman is strong no doubt about it but cotto has been in some brawls...been in some wars...and he's fought some guys with great accuracy and strength behind their punches...

can pacman stop cotto? its possible one way or another but to even suggest it would be within 5 rounds is absurd and i'd be curious to see what odds vegas would be giving on such a bet...im sure its got to be a high payout...

if you're so certain it will happen within 5 rounds then make the bet...i'd love to see a screen image of that transaction.

As all of you would know Manny's been on a knock-out spree in the last 2 years or so,So I decided to go and have a look and the guys he's stopped(De La Hoya, Diaz, Hatton) and the ones he seems to have real REAL struggles with(Morales, Marquez), and the one thing that just absolutely shouted at me was that every single one of Hatton, DLH, Diaz(southpaw but goes squares up) are natural southpaws who fight out of an orthodox position, you cannot fatholm just how hard it is to fight a southpaw when he's leaning to your right almost completely taking out your only useful hand(basically), Pacquaio has the perfect blend of movement and speed and power to come in off the right and almost completely nullify the left hand, The way Morales and Marquez(yes) beat Manny was by shooting the straight right down the middle almost constantly, everytime he tries that warrior thing he does(puts his hands up in the air and tries to go to war) they pummel him with the straight right and a left hook after it, the straight right was finding it's target almost every single time in both Marquez's fights and Morales first fight, Manny just cannot defend the straight right(almost at all), who's main money punch is the straight right? Now it makes sense why Arum is wanting Manny to fight Cotto instead because he knows Manny wants to retire at the beginning of 2010 and has already planned a political party to run for congress, Arum will absolutely make sure Pacquaio does not fight Mayweather, why else is he coming out and saying stuff like "Manny I want to look after you", "nobody(mayweather) will get more than 35% against Manny now"(he knows money won't take anything less than 50), Know i'm not sure 100% about this though because Freddie said Manny has developed into a complete fighter over the last 12 months and he hasn't fought a guy with a good straight right yet so we will see if he fight Mayweather, I got Mayweather as heavy HEAVY favorite against Manny and much less a favorite against Marquez for the record. Anyways if it happens I got Manny to absolutely destroy Cotto and stop and him and the whole boxing world will be in awe but I see what Manny's all about now and that style(southpaw fighting out of orthodox) will never beat Manny no matter how good they are,
