His last performance shows everybody how tough Cotto is, he won the fight with one eye, and remember pac is bringing nothing that Cotto hasn't seen before, power and speed, I think Pac is a good fighter but I don't think he can easily beat Cotto, i think that Cotto will stop him, but I won't be surprise if pac win, if he win he can take anybody on the WW.
Anyway, if cotto wins he won't get any credit, people will said that he beat a smaller guy, but if pac win, he will be one of the best. We've has seen this before with puertorican fighters, when Tito was on top he didn't get the credit that he really deserves, when Hopkins beat him Hopkins was one of the best P4P and his carrer really took off.

Beristain's perspective is based on Cotto's previous performances and Pacquiao's ability to neutralize Cotto's advantage in power and muscle mass. It's a fact that Cotto is much stronger but lacks the intangible skills that Pacquiao possesses such as dedication and motivation to excel. Pacquiao also has a significant advantage in speed and enhanced boxing skills. I see Pacquiao winning by KO within 5th round.

You make some good points but I feel that if cotto did not have a cut he would have had a chance to stop clotty. I have eyes.. and while I was watching the fight i felt frustrated but after thinking about the cut and his poor vision I understood exactly what he was doing.

But I think you have some resentment that JMM is not getting this fight with pac which is something he is pursuing... Its ok after cotto beats manny (if he fights right) the JMM vs PAC III will happen.

For me, I think he can K.O. Cotto. He doesn't have good chin compare to Pacquiao. Base on Cotto's previous fight against Torres, he wobbles many time's and Cotto was the bigger man. Pac can punch, he has speed and w/ good chin and a smart Fighter, hes getting better and better every fight. As for Cotto, I'm not impressed for his Previous fight even tho he manage to win. Just like what Pacquiao said, train hard and focus on the game the fight is easy. Pacquiao for 4th Round K.O.
