Good post.. But it is good for ppl to hate on Cotto.. It will always be like this in boxing that's what makes it a good sport.. There are two people that hates on Cotto, nationality fans and boxing fans that feel he hasn't done enough. The future will show what Cotto accomplished and I hope he accomplish more in the future. I've been a fan since Pinto but watch some older fights. I normally pick a fighter everytime there's a fight and I could say I've been a fan of almost every fighter but my nature of being puertorican overrides me being a fan of someone who's not when fighting someone from PR. The fight with pacquiao will be good but I see Cotto winning once again probably by KO in the late rounds 10+.

Great post MaFu, I couldn't agree more with u. Apparently, we think alike about the outcome of the fight, if he doesn't bully him early, he'll be in deep waters, stamina will be an issue.

Good honest thread nice one,its amazing the elite fighters out there at the minute get so many hate threads,mayweather,pacquaio,cotto,mosley,bout the only one who doesnt is marquez.respect all of them coz every1 is great in their own right.
hopefully in a years time we will be able to see who is the best out of them.

That was a good post. Cotto is pretty much the fighter that everyone should be a fan of. But he's almost getting hated on as much as Mayweather is getting hated on. I guess that is a sign that he's approaching the top.
I have no doubts at all the Cotto will come out victorious against Pacquiao. The Cotto vs Mayweather fight will come off and will be one of the biggest fights of the past decade. I also believe it will be the fight that solidifies Mayweather as one of the best of this era and silences the criticism.

Agreed. when haters bunch grow, you know your fighter is up there.

Contrary to what happened in Boxing back in the 80's, we have not been able to witness the best facing the best challenges. Mostly due to PBF lack of cojones to "try to clean out the WW division", the division he has belong for the last couple of years. Also, too bad that WW boxers want no part of Paul Williams... including Cotto & SSM, whom has faced most of the top ranked WWs. I would love to see PBF & PW face the top ranked WWs... but shi-t ain't happening.

Pinto wasn't that bad as a fighter, kind of tall for his weight. I know he beated Augustus. What the hell happened to him? Did he vanished? retired?
