    Jeff Harding was so tough!!

    Jeff Harding was so tough!!

I saw his fight with McCallum tonight and when you think of the wars he had with Andries you can only respect Jeff Harding as a fighter, he was one tough SOB.

Dude could walk through anything and keep coming after you.

I was a big fan of his to.. Real Aussie tough guy.. The wars with Andries were unforgettable... I know a lot of people that know him.. He's sadly fallen upon hard times & drinking himself to death these days.. Real shame.. One tough Hombre!
Not surprised you didn't get more response to this one, as most of the posters wouldn't have a 'didgery doo' who the hell he was...

He was hard as ****ing nails, as to was our Boy Andries. The 3rd fight with Andries is one of the best fights ive EVER seen.

Tremendous heart from both guys, but Hardining was soo ****ing tough its unreal.

      Props to the man.

Sure.. Andries came up the hard way.. Like Archie Moore, he didn't even know how old he was.. Even as a 3 time L/H champ he'd regularly get the tube from Hackney station & no one ever recognised him.. I remember the clashes with Bunny Johnson, Tom Collins, Alex Blanchard, Tony Sibson.. All classics..

Yeah they said during the Czyz fight Andries was listed at 36 or something, they asked Andries how old he was before that fight and HE claimed he was 32, so they asked him what year he was born and he could not work it out quick enough and just replied im 32

Andries had tremendous stamina for a 35+ year old.

Ive not seen those i will watch the Sibson fight tonight because i have that, i watched his fight with Czyz that was a good fight to.

I mentioned Tom Collins.. Harding beat him to.. 2nd round KO if I remember rightly..
Did you ever see the British Title fight between Collins & John Moody..
The reason I ask is it's an absolue humdinger, & I was drinking with John the other day...
