Clottey is too much of a risk.

Take a 7 figure pay day, kill the hype train that is Andre Berto and get a solid amount of credit for it, than wait and see what unfolds with Pac/Cotto.

He's a moron if he doesn't do that.

froch might be a bit of a risk in my opinion...mosley would have to go up in weight and fight a good young fighter with power and a pretty damn good chin...

that (besides mayweather) could be one of the toughest fights he can take.

mayweather is ideal (it could boost his legacy more than any other fight could at this time)...

oscar might bring in some money but i dont think it would go over well as a $50 ppv to see that fight again...not at that age.

Realistically getting a rematch with cotto would be his best choice while waiting for someone like mayweather but even that isnt an option with pacman facing off against cotto...

i dont know who he could fight RIGHT NOW, right now (yes x2) that would bring in the big money...he could just simply take a fight to take one...a stay busy fight but that leaves limited choices of guys at 147...berto maybe? give the kid a good test?

if he does want to go up and prepare for someone like froch i can see him goin up and taking a bit of a tune-up fight so to speak before going after the top dog.

there are lots of options out there just none with the big $$$ and the big fight...all those fighters seem busy at the moment.

Waiting for Mayweather seems futile and all the big names in the WW division are doing something while Mosley is just waiting.

So, would the best move for Mosley to get a big paycheck fight(if he really wants one) to lure Oscar out of retirement and get a rematch? No one will talk about shotness because they are both old. A fight at 154 would be reasonable, and no matter what Oscar is a draw for some odd reason. It would be the fight that Mosley could use for a big payday and its a good way to end his career no?

        What do you guys think?
oscar ain't coming back. mosley can't beat pwill.

mosley's best bet is to fight someone like judah where he can get a reasonable payday.

            Berto!

If Berto's team don't allow it then I think stick around for Mayweather/Pacquiao/Cotto.

It's unfortunate he seems to be at the back of the queue but he will get his shot at at least one of them

Those two fights do absolutely nothing for Shane's career. Berto has a belt, but beating him would still probably not bring the big money fights for Shane. Being a unified titleholder usually doesn't equate to landing big fights. Look at Nate Campell. I think that if Paul Williams doesn't really bring the kind of money to the table that Shane is looking for, then Shane should probably fight Pavlik. Hopkins has already exposed him though so Shane may not get all that much credit if he beat him, regardless of the size difference. But it would be a very good payday to go along with the strong possibility of losing based on Pavlik's size. So Mosley would be well compensated taking into consideration the risk.

Man, f#ck that. Zab is the one who should fight Berto, not Mosley. Mosley is not a gate keeper.

I think he should stay the hell away from Williams as a loss there hurts him bad. He should wait for a Cotto/Pac/Mayweather fight if he can get it.

judah is the only one who can give mosley a decent payday at 147 lbs.
