Don't like the way it looks on him, but it's definitely great work.
You can say it's ****, or whatever. But the quality of that work is lightyears beyond some of the work some of you guys have.
Being able to do **** that looks that realistic truly is an artform.
Especially when you compare it to what everybody else gets done. (Mostly tribal, old english, tramp stamps, coi fish, kanji, skulls and flowers.)Comment

That's not as common nowadays though, did you serve in the Navy?
Anchors are the ****.
I like throwback tattoos, before the **** became trendy and every wanna be tough-guy, douchebag on the block had an arm wrapped with a barbedwire band.
None of mine have color, just greywash. An old school look to them, and they don't fade as much.Comment

looks like a picture pasted on his hand almost, good coloring and detail work, a bit lame though for my taste.
i'm not a tattoo guy, for me and my opinion about tattoo's, no matter what, to me it is a lack of individualism, mainly because everything can be reproduced, usually is reproduced when people are picking out there tattoos. i think nothing is more original than the canvas or the body itself.
i tend to like scars better than any tattoo, although i do like the heritage of tattoo's telling ones life stories, but i think scars are better and can tell way better stories.
most of the time when it comes to a tattoo, people don't ever make a real choice about it, usually it's because they're followers, why the hell do you think they pick it out of a book full of tattoo's that look like children's BMX stickers. at the very least draw up something that you can claim it is original or have a good artist make something personalized for you, but the people who pick a tattoo out of a book like the tribal band tattoo's and ****** **** like that, all i got to say is " baaaaaahhhhh.." right back to the sheep. ( more like sheeple)
people are afraid to look normal, thinking that it is just plain and boring without having a tattoo or tattoo's, but when you deduce it down, everyone with a tattoo looks the same as another with a tattoo, trying to look different only to look the same.................... it's a identity crisis......... next is the midlife, get a fast car, motorcycle aka DONOR cycle, grow a pony tail, get a young hot chick who is barely 18 ( elevenTEEN is more like it) start doing hard drugs, just to feel young and accepted again, go to clubs being one of the old guys there who is rocking a style that is painful for others to see, being the butt of everyones' joke, all in the name of acceptance, all in the name of self worth, all in the name of feeling good, all in the name of reliving the youth, all in the name of the totally confused, all in the name of not knowing who the **** oneself is..............Comment
