Credentials for ATG...

Considering our current stable of fighters of 2009. what would have to be taken into consideration for them to be considered an ATG. What kind of achievements would have to be met for this Generation to have an ATG boxer.

I would argue that it's more difficult now to have an ATG as opposed to boxing in it's golden years. Do losses really matter or does it have to do with facing the best competition and if so avenging those losses.

I suppose you have to look at who takes care of business clinically while remaining active..
I'd say PBF is the SRL of today, but unfortunately, he's been poluted with inflated pay days, thus remaining inactive too much..

For sure... There won't be a multitude of ATG's from this era but, Pac & Wlad are looking fairly dominant at this stage.. Also, don't forget the guys who have retired (or should retire) that will be included in this era..

IE: Calzaghe, Jones, Hopkins & Lewis..

With regard to loses... Would Lewis have been as highly rated, had he not reversed the defeats to McCall & Rahman? I don't think so... So yes ATG status, means that this is necessary... Good thread.... Oh!!!! & that turd cutter on your avatar... Priceless!
