Yes Cotto ruptured his ear. One of Mosley's close friends said he had never seen Mosley this beat up before.

Haha, of course it's real. I'm pretty sure it was that counter right hand in the 11th round that did it. Mosley went for a big left hook and Cotto shot a beautiful counter right in the pocket.

At the end of the fight you can see the blood streaming down and one of the members of Mosley's team trying to clean it with a q-tip and it's clear that it's hurting Shane.
