i have no respect for valuev him and his team were looking for an excuse not to get beat by chagaev and they managed it, all he does is fight bums that don king puts infront of him bums that he can beat, this guy has no power and should be knocking people out left and right. Vitaliy wants to fight tougher more exciti9ng fighters and preferebly in the usa if arreola fight can get made. I hope there is an announcement soon on Vitalis next opponent and Wlads as well

In fact, all that happened is an oral agreement between Vitali and Valuev for a fight over a phone conversation, probably with a 50-50 purse split and september/october as viable dates.

Well, we all know that is only a fraction of the picture because for the fight to happen both camps would have to agree to it, plus TV, sponsors and everything else, which is the problem.

Valuev's camp is not interested in that fight. DKP, who co-promotes Valuev wants to stay away from the Klitchkos and pair him up with DKP's own Ruiz or Meehan. Sauerland, who also promotes Valuev, also wants to overprotect Valuev and should be more inclined to take the Ruiz route if it gives them the freedom to have a voluntary defense before having to fight another mandatory.

Klitchkos camp is also not very open to the fight. They have offered the fight to Valuev too many times already and got turned down in all of them, even on best financial terms then now. It seems they are not willing to put their effort, time and patience on this and risk missing a good oportunity on Arreola and Haye. Add to that the fact that they would be tied up with Ruiz and Meehan as soon as they win the WBA belt, fights that nobody has any interest in, complicating even more Vitali's situation as he already has Maskaev to deal with after his voluntary fight.

Vitali will destroy Haye a lot easier than Arreola. Haye is a legend is his own and his fanbois minds. Arreola will at least test Vitali. Either Wlad or Vitali would toy with Haye before finally destroying him. Hell, a half-in-shape, half-motivated Sam Peter would KO Haye.
